2012 Infinity Wrestling Academy Camps are being planned please check back for updates
The IWA Camps will be the best youth/middle school camp in the Phoenix metro area
- Coach Barbee will teach all sessions
- Camp enrollment will be capped to allow for better practice and instruction
- Convenient evening sessions Tentatively the 5:30-8-30pm time range
- Focused, positive and fun training environment
- Parent demos and awards ceremony at the end of each camp
- Ahwatukee area, exact location TBA.
IWA camps will focus on providing techniques that can help you be successful from kids wrestling through college. There is no such thing as "kids wrestling" the moves you learn and the attitude you need to succeed in the sport of wrestling is the same whether you are 8 or 18. Coach Barbee will teach you how to drill and compete hard in all facets of wrestling. Why learn to wrestle one way when you're a young and then another way when you get older...learn it the right way the first time!! Camps will cover world class takedown techniques with tons of setups and finishes, top wrestling with a special emphasis on leg riding and a system for bottom wrestling that will help you to always be able to get away from your opponent!!

Tentative plan for camps
Camp: Wrestlers entering grades 1st-4th no experience necessary: We'll cater to both beginners and more experienceed kids learning basics, drilling, live wrestling and games.
Camp: Wrestlers entering grades 5-8, 1 year of experience required: A focused environment that will be educational fun and challenging...tons of skill work! Two seperate camps, Takedowns only camp and a mat wrestling camp with a focus on leg riding
